Topic: Some questions Hi
It does have to do with permissions. I would say that for most purpose, you would select the organization (e.g. school, church, etc) as the Belongs to selection. Let’s say you want a private event. Select yourself as the Belongs to selection, then set edit/view access as Private
For this situation, if you would like certain staff members to be able to edit a certain calendar, set the Belongs to to that staff member. Set the Edit access to Private but the View access to Public. Now this user will be the ONLY person who can edit these events. You can set the staff member’s default Edit access to Private and View access to Public to make it easy for them. I hope this answers your question Richard Kuhlenschmidt |

Topic: Some questions Thanks for that, now for some follow-up questions: 1 – So this simply stores that name of the person that ‘owns’ the calendar? Nothing to do with permissions, etc.? Thanks again for your help! |

Topic: Some questions Just some things I’d like to know about Famundo… 1 – What is the ‘Belongs to’ option when creating a calendar? Any help with these questions would be much appreciated! |
