I’ve been wishing, hoping and hunting for a family calendar like this – even considered developing my own. But thankfully you have come along and created something I could never have done so well – it’s a wonderful way to keep the family on the same page.
Since you’re welcoming feedback in this forum here are a few inital thoughts…
Generally I like the clean interface, however I think the header graphic (and icons at the top right) are too large and clunky and take up too much screen realestate for not much functionality.
I’d like to see an icon, link or some method of clicking on the day (in the month view) to add an event to that selected day.

Hi,
Thank you for the nice comments. We’re working on improving the interface constantly and we have a couple of new ideas to make it look even better. :)
Regarding scheduling events we have a few options currently. One of the methods that I like most and find it very useful to schedule something at a specific time is by clicking and dragging on the grid (this is available only for day/week views). These steps will bring up the Quick Event dialog with the times that you selected previously already predefined for you.
There is a new way to schedule events that we’re still working on it and will be available very soon as well. I think you’ll find that even better.
If you have any other suggestions or things you don’t find very clear please let us know.

I like your solution for adding an event in the day and week views (by dragging on the grid) however, I mainly (almost always) work in the month view. Can you simply hyperlink the date in each box or add a hyperlinked plus symbol in each square to pop up the quick event window which will have the date already filled in?

Hi,
We’ll consider it for a future version. Very soon there will be 2 new ways to add events in the month view (one of them is by using the right click menu).

FYI there are 2 new ways to add events in the calendar in the build that was just rolled out
- by right clicking on the specific time slot you want to schedule for
- ‘drag to calendar to schedule’ which does exactly that…you can drag the link over a specific time slot
Both these new ways work in every calendar view (so you can use them for the month view too).
