Sync does not finish -- Error 511

Hi-

When I try to sync with outlook, the contacts sync OK, but then the sync stops and reports an error. Calendar,tasks, notes do not sync at all. The log says that the server returned error 511. I have no idea what this means. Also this only happens when I click “sync all.” I can sync the Calendar on its own and it works fine.

Never mind. Got it figured out. Somehow I had a blank contact in outlook which caused the server to abort the sync. I deleted the blank and now everything works great!

Hi,
I looked at your sync logs and the only thing that stands out it is the Notes items and that’s probably why you received 511.

We only support Calendar, Contacts and Tasks sync. So please go to the Tools/Options and disable Notes. Leave the other 3 options and retry. If you still get that error please post the time of your sync so I can look again at your server logs.

The 511 error is a generic server error so it’s not helping much, but if it fails again, the time of your sync is more helpful.
