Keeping private events private?

It appears that private events in Outlook sync to my Famundo calendar. Any way to prevent them from synchronizing? |

Hi, We can’t prevent these events to be synchronized (as the Outlook sync connector sends them to Famundo). What we can do though is mark these type of events as ‘Not shared/private’ in Famundo so this way you’ll be the only one that can see them. I think this way we won’t break the sync algorithm and use a reasonable approach. Will this be better for you? Regards, |

Hi. Thanks for the help. Your idea seems reasonable to me. How do we proceed? Do I make these changes in my edit/view access settings or is that something that you do for me? Or is this something that will be changed in the programming? Thanks again for the very prompt help. Have a great day! |

Hi, No need to change your edit/view access settings (unless you want a different behavior for the public events coming from Outlook). Regarding the private events we need to do some changes on our side to make the sync work this way. I would expect in a few days it should be available (I’ll post here when this change will be live). You’ll notice this new behavior with new/updated events coming from Outlook. The old events (the ones that you already synced) won’t have the private flag in Famundo…so you’ll need to change them manually in Famundo or update them in Outlook and re-sync. Regards, |

Hi, This should be fixed now. Please give it a try and let us know. Regards, |
