Windows error

I have installed the outlook sync plug in, but when I open up the plug in and click on options to set up the sync with my account information. I get a message that says windows has experienced an error and must shut down and then the plug in disappears from the screen. Windows does not acually shut down.

What operating system are you using? What Outlook version?

I am using outlook 2003. also, I ment to say that the message says that te plug in has encounterd and error and need to shut down, not window. Thanks.

Hi Kathryn,

I can’t seem to duplicate this problem. Do you have another plugin installed in Outlook?
Can you try this on a different computer?

I do not have another Plugin installed. I have sucessfully installed the plug in on my lap top at home. I am trying to install it on my computer at work. Our Network Administer has tried to install it also.

Hi,

Can you check if there if you have the lastest service pack for Outlook 2003 (SP3) ? Also do you have SP2 for Windows XP installed?
If will be helpful if you can run msinfo32 (from Start/Run) and do an export of your system information. If you could email that to us to support at famundo dot com we can try figure out why you’re getting that error.
