Import not working

I put an event on my calendar then exported so I would have the correct format for importing events. The import still does not work. When I click on “save” it does nothing, no popup, nothing. Help! |

Hi Cosmin, I have also used the export / import feature and find that when clicking save I get a brief blue bar showing progress of some sort, then nothing, othertimes I get a popup box showing % complete and then an error message telling me the date is in the wrong format, the date one seems to be related to selecting a calendar that was not originally selected for the export. Anyway, once the import has completed I look at the calendar and the new appointment I had created does not display, but when I export the file again, there is my appointment record. Maybe it doesn’t display because the export / import doesn’t have a field relating to who the appointment is assigned to? Rod |

I FINALLY got my CSV imported and the calendar is set to public but the events are not there unless I am logged in. So now what?? |

Hi, Probably the events are not public. Only your Calendar. We have 2 levels of security (one for the Calendar and the other for the events itself). Regards, |

I was sure to set the events to public in the csv file before importing. Under the column “Private” they are all “FALSE”. But when I go into the calendar, logged in, and look under the Edit function they are only set to be viewable to All Staff. I need them all public. How can that be done while importing? I’ve got 100 or so events and don’t wish to have to change them all 1 by 1… Now, I just exported everything to look at in in csv and somewhere in the process of importing/exporting all of my Private column FALSE’s were changed to TRUE. This is SO frustrating!!!!!! |
